Services

Parish Communion - Sunday 10am
A traditional Anglican service following a set pattern of hymns, prayers, sermon and Holy Communion. We try to follow the regular worship of the Church with dignity (and some drama in terms of movement and robes) but with warmth and informality.

During term time there is a Sunday Club for kids aged 3 upwards. Back to top

Other Services/Worship/Prayer Opportunities

Morning and evening prayer is said every weekday by a member of the congregation

Throughout the year, we have special services to celebrate Mothering Sunday, Harvest, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Easter periods.

We have monthly Christening services where you and your baby are more than welcome and we are quite busy with weddings. To book a wedding or a Christening, you are asked to come to the Church after the Sunday morning service (between 11.15am and 12.15pm) and someone will be there to help you arrange your service. We are always open to new forms of service to celebrate or mark important events - a blessing of a marriage, renewal of marriage vows, a special service to mark an adoption of a child, a memorial service, a form of service to deal with unresolved problems. Please speak to the vicar.

We are keen to explore our faith and throughout the year we organise groups to do just this. A regular group follows a 6 week course we have called Mind Sets and Heart Beats which explores ourselves, our nurturing and our faith journey. It is a prelude to confirmation as well as a useful course for regular church-goers.
