New years eve 2004 Jim was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a battery of tests followed to establish which one. After a surgical biopsy,it turned out to be a non Hodgkins mantle cell lymphoma, we were told it was incurable, but could be treated to keep it at bay. in April 2005 Jim started his first chemotherapy session.

After we had ten months chemo free. then it returned. To date Jim has had a further three and on monday he begins his forth session, (two weeks ago his blood test showed his platelets' were down so he had to wait till they recovered sufficiently in order to have the chemo, today they were back up, PHEW!) So we will be at western park Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday for chemo then Thursday for the scan.

Then at the end of January this year, I was diagnosed with further heart trouble when I was sent into hospital (N.G.H) I had already had two stents to my RCA. five years ago. Then in May I had an angiagram and angiaplasty, when they restented a stent that had become blocked again.Ok fine,... but they also found another blockage in the left side.it's a sort of 'T' junction that is blocked and it too needs sorting, but this carries a greater risk, they let me get over the first procedure. Now I have to have the next in the next three months, not had the letter yet. I just want to be well to look after Jim.

Then the P.C brigade were having a go at 'OUR CHURCH' I was very angry, I am like a lot of people who don't get to church regularly ( I used to) but consider themselves to be Christians, I am nothing without my faith, especially in our given circumstances. Then I thought well it's time we did support 'OUR CHURCH' in the only way we can, By joining the congregation.

So Glad we did, on the way up the path I realized the anger had gone, I felt a peace settle on me and shared this with Jim. And who cares about PC anyway, although we do have to keep what we have.

Very Very sorry to find out Mike is leaving He made us very welcome when we moved up here. we won't forget that.....THANKS and GOD BLESS MIKE

Congratulations on a nicely designed site. I discoverd you in the "Everything New This Week" section of Anglicans on Line. Keep up the good work and many blessings upon the ministry of St. Mary's.

It is my custom most Monday mornings to visit Anglicans Online and when I find another congregation named in honor of Our Lord's Blessed Mother I send greetings from this St. Mary's deep in the piney woods of south Arkansas (just 14 miles north of the Louisiana boarder). Episcopalians have been gathering here for worship since 1849 -- you may find our website of interest. www.saintmaryeldo.org

May God continue to blesss your ministry.

Bob
